Taumata Moana is Maori for 'Top of the Hill to the Ocean", which perfectly describes the property from the Taumata Homestead on one of the highest points of the Station to the wild and spectacular coastline.

The Station currently has around 1600 head of cattle and 7,000 sheep. A large farming operation on the West Coast of the North Island, Taumata Moana Station has been farmed for over 100 years.
